POP NERDZ IS...MUSICAL GEEKERY AT IT'S BEST!
We are looking for written article submissions and vlogs for our November 2011 issue, which describe, with reference to examples, the stylistic features and development of pop music from the 1950's and 1960's.
Your main focus should be British and American pop music of this period although this can be expanded to include relevant music examples from other parts of the globe.
Styles thst should be included in your article or vlog: blues, dance music, popular ballads, balladeers, novelty songs, R&B, rock, skiffle, rockabilly, rock 'n' roll, Merseybeat, Motown and the California sound.
We favour well constructed, logical analytical and insightful articles and these should be emailed to the editor at david.watters@sparsholt.ac.uk no later than 21 Oct 2011.
